Common Questions

Everything Western Massachusetts parents ask before they book. Still not sure? Just call - we'd rather talk it through.

Do I supply the water?

You supply the hose and the water; we supply everything else. Hook-up is part of setup and we'll show you the shutoff before we leave. Water use is roughly what a sprinkler uses over the same hours.

What if it rains?

Rain alone doesn't stop a water slide — everyone's getting wet regardless. We do shut down for lightning and high wind, which are genuine safety issues. We'll wait as long as we can before delivering so you can make the call, but once the unit is delivered there's no refund. If you'd rather reschedule, we'll do our best, though summer Saturdays fill up early.

How cold is too cold?

Below about 75 degrees most kids last ten minutes and then they're done. Under 70 we'd steer you to a dry slide instead — same tower, same fun, nobody shivering. May and September bookings are usually better dry.

Will it wreck my lawn?

The footprint will be flattened and soaked, and it stays soggy for a day or two after. Grass recovers. What doesn't recover as well is a slide left in one spot for several days in high heat, so for multi-day rentals we'll talk about placement.

What ages are these for?

Most of our slides are ages 5 and up — the climb and the drop are too much for toddlers. Slip n slides run lower to the ground and work for slightly younger kids with supervision. If your party is mostly under 5, call us and we'll point you at something better suited.

Does someone need to supervise?

Yes. An adult needs to watch the unit whenever kids are on it — that's your responsibility, not ours, and it's in the rental agreement. Our crew sets up, safety-checks, and shows you the rules before leaving.

How far ahead should I book?

For July and August, as early as you can — water slides are the first thing to go and summer Saturdays book out weeks ahead. Shoulder season is easier. If your date is close, still call; cancellations happen.

What deposit do you take?

25%–50% by Visa or MasterCard when you reserve, credited toward the total. Deposits are non-refundable and orders can't be changed once placed — when we reserve a unit it comes out of inventory and nobody else can rent it. Schools and churches may pay by check.

Are you insured?

Fully licensed and insured, and we can issue a certificate naming your venue. Parks, schools and function halls almost always ask for one, so tell us who to name when you book.

How much water do these use?

A slide running continuously uses roughly what a lawn sprinkler does over the same period. Most customers don't notice it on the bill. If you're on a well with limited recovery, mention it and we'll suggest a shorter run cycle.

Ready to lock in your date?

One call and we'll check availability, match a unit to your yard, and hold it for you.
